System Admin Overview

As a System Admin, you are responsible for managing the Shyfts platform at the highest level. You onboard new companies, create their initial Company Manager accounts, and oversee the overall platform health.

Your Role

System Admins are the gatekeepers of the Shyfts SaaS platform. When a business wants to use Shyfts:

  1. They complete an onboarding form with their company details
  2. You create their company in Shyfts using the creation wizard
  3. You create their Company Manager account with temporary credentials
  4. You provide the login details to the Company Manager
  5. The Company Manager then builds out their company portal (staff, schedules, etc.)
SaaS Model

Shyfts is a Software-as-a-Service platform. Companies do not self-host - you manage all companies from a central admin dashboard.

What You Can Do

Company Management

  • Create companies - Onboard new businesses with the 6-step wizard
  • Configure settings - Set industry templates, opening hours, rooms
  • Monitor status - View active/inactive companies
  • Edit companies - Update company details as needed
  • Manage subscriptions - Handle company lifecycle

User Management

  • Create Company Managers - Initial account for each company
  • View users - See all users across the platform
  • Monitor activity - Track user statistics and engagement

Platform Configuration

  • Industry templates - Manage templates for different business types
  • Platform settings - Configure global platform options
